The tales of Danielle (my girlfriend) and Kris (myself) as we enjoy ourselves in sunny San Francisco.

Hi Everyone!

This week, we kind of buckled down and had a grueling week of eating well and searching for apartments. Our lease is up at the end of the month, and so we really need to find some place soon or else we’re going to be homeless.

So we went and looked at a place last night, it was supposed to be a 2br loft, but it turned out the second bedroom was just a really big broom closet. (Not really, but seemed like just an afterthought) We are finding a lot of quirks about 2br apartments in San Francisco.

I also got a bike! Its a cheap Trek, and definitely not in mint condition. Though I’m already cruising around the city, and having a blast so I’m really glad I got it. I’m going to take it to the bike shop and have them fix a few things and then it should be just perfect. I forgot to take a picture, I’ll get one later for you.

I’m really worried about it getting stolen, I hear so many horror stories, I feel like if I leave it out of my sight for 5 minutes, every part not nailed to the pavement will be stolen. Not true, but it still bothers me and will till I leave it outside for a bit and nothing happens. (Crossing my fingers)

Danielle’s been walking to and from work, which has been giving her some nice exercise, she comes home all sweaty and tired, though her ears are cold when I give her a nice welcome home hug. (I’m sure more information then you ever cared about.)

Oh yea, one last thing, we went to Hayes Valley and hung out with Sabrina and one of her closer friends Dennis. He has a really nice condo that he’s moving out of that we were considering renting so it was nice to see, but it probably wouldn’t have worked for us, so its okay that he ended up selling it. We went to this two layer restaurant across the street from his place and had an amazingly good chicken sandwich.

My expectations were really low considering the place was small, and attached to a somewhat sketchy Days inn. But wow, pleasantly surprised.

That was about our week, we are trying to eat well so our adventures are limited, but the weekend is finally here so crazy things are afoot. I’ll post about them after we’ve done a few.
