The Zoo

This was a while ago, at least 3 weeks, but I got pictures for it so why not post about it?
We decided on a whim to go to the Zoo, it was certainly something on our list and we didn’t have anything to do, so off we went.
A few notes about the zoo first of all, this is the zoo that had that bad Tiger attack and people were killed. Its also laid out really well, you do some loops and hit everything, as opposed to the Seattle Zoo which is gigantic and you’ll keep doubling back on things you’ve seen to get somewhere else. It probably helps that the SF Zoo just didn’t seem as big.
Okay, so here’s a sight for sore eye’s.
Anyway, you start with the African exibit (that always seems like the first thing) and so you got to see som Giraffe’s.
There they are, cute little guys. Why don’t you race one of those in the Bellmont? I’d bet they run pretty fast with those large legs.
Next we had the Gorilla’s. Nice viewing as they were out and about and you were able to fully walk around the encavement to see them.
I’m pretty sure these are the Chimpanzies. You’d think they were out taking Tequila shots the night before based on how they were passed out. The most action we got from these guys was one rolling over and covering himself with a blanket.
Lions Den. Its great they were so close.
This is a Warthog, he was hillarious, he went and rolled in the mud right after this. Then went walking around like he owned the place.
And thats it, a lot of times we forget to take pictures for most of the time. And you guys miss out, guess you’ll just have to come see for yourself.
